Role Overview
As the Water Resources Project Manager, you’ll manage a variety of water-related projects, from flood control and stormwater management to water supply and conservation. You’ll be at the helm, ensuring our projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role offers the opportunity to work with a skilled team on impactful projects that address real-world water challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee project planning, design, and execution for water resources initiatives.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders.
- Develop project scopes, timelines, and budgets, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage project challenges proactively.
- Track and report on project progress, addressing any deviations in scope or timeline.
- Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Maintain and manage existing client relationships while looking for new opportunities
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Water Resources, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience managing water resources projects, with hands-on expertise in areas like stormwater management, flood control, and water supply.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders.
- A passion for sustainable water management and a commitment to making a positive impact.
